Hi,

Can anybody help me on this. Multi-select people getting multiple email in case all must approve or at least one rejection happen

in my case all must approve, so preparer of item creater getting 3 approval mail in case of 3 approver(all must approve) and if any approver reject then in that case he is getting 3 rejection email, but ideally supposed to get only one email.

Please see below snapshot, in yes section approver and no rejection email configured

    HI @Anonymous

You have the send email inside a loop. So if there are three people:

    1. The loop gets the first person
    2. Formats the email
    3. Sends the email
    4. Repeat

That's why you get 3 emails.

    I recommend the following:

    1. Create two string variables (one for the emails and the other for the answers)
    2. In the loop append the values in each
    3. outside the loop, send the email with the contents of the variables.

With this, you'll get only one email.

Can you please check if and let me know if you have any questions?

    Thanks Manuel,

I tried alternate options and it worked for me.

I removed apply to each and responses comments from loop then i kept approver comments in variable and in send an email i referred responses variable in place of responses comments in order to avoid loop.
