Background
I have a client with a custom API wired up with the Canvas app.The custom API does some processing within Power Automate.
Requirements

I referred to this Blog where I am able to https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Community-Blog/Power-Automate-Fundamentals-10-Usage-of-workflow-Function-in/ba-p/1247789where I can capture the workflow status in Power Automate and then send an email.But I need to return the error to the Power Apps canvas app.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Unless the Power Automate flow is triggered manually by the Power App there is no way to return the error message to the App.

Can use the Return data to PowerApps from a flow action at Power Automate?
Will it work in my case?
You can only use that action to return values to an App if the flow was triggered from the app. That was the point I was trying to make.
