Building Flows to replace Basic Workflows

Hello All,

This is my first post, my company are moving to unified interface and i can see that backgroud/auto workflows are no longer supported, so i am attempting to convert some of my workflows into microsoft flow. I am having some issues with what seem like basic logic.

So here is the scenario : - We use platform change request to spin up trial codes for our software - this then creates a code in the licensing portal and writes back using scribe. However when this job completed the organisation name (account) is not updated using the standard mappings. I think this is due to the scribe job.

In Dynamics 365 we have used a workflow to populate this.

Check for Existing Data
If Platform Licence:Company does not contain data, then:

Set Company (Update x 1)
Update:  Platform Licence  View properties

Which then will populate the organisation(account) name on the platform license to ensure its related to the correct organisation and also visable on the organisation(account) sub grid.

I dont seem to be able to re-create this in flow, im hoping somebody can advise me on the best way to achieve this using flow.

Regards,

Aaren

    Hi @AarenImpero

You can use the When a Record is Created trigger available for Dynamics/Common data Services and then check the attribute that you want to and finally update it. For a reference, please see the screenshot below:
