can only create 3 developer environments

when I create power platform environments, they show as created by my username, and I'm an admin in that environment.

This causes a problem when creating developer environments, as there's a limit of 3 dev environments per user, meaning I cannot provision more than 3 environment.

I cannot remove myself as a user from other development environments however, so I am effectively limited to creating 3 developer environments.

Am I doing something incorrect here?

As you mentioned, each user can only own up to three Developer type environments. (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/developer/plan#can-i-get-or-create-multiple-developer-environments)

Tenant-level admins can create developer environments on makers’ behalf (up to 3 developer environments for each owner). (https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/as-a-tenant-level-admin-enable-your-makers-with-developer-environments)

I am having the same issue. I am global administrator for my tenant. Anybody found a solution?
