Power Automate flow after removal of domain name in Office 365 tenant

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows what happens with the Power Automate flows when you remove a domain (mycompany.com) from an Office 365 tenant and the user that owns and runs the flows ends up with an mycompany.onmicrosoft.com username/account instead?

In this case the flow in use is connected to an Office 365 mailbox (will be connected to a new mailbox after domain is removed) and creating files on-prem if there is an attachment (will it effect the gateway?).

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi @atomiseur ,

Will the existing O365 tenant exist or is it expected to migrate across?

You could export and import the PA flows into the new tenant and recreate all the necessary connections.    Here is an overview.

    Hi @eric-cheng ,

    Thanks for the reply.

The O365 tenant will still exist for about a year before beeing removed/discontinued along with the Power Automate flows. So i was thinking that the easiest way of still having the flows running during that time was to just leve it as is and just change the "Office 365 Connector" to the new mailbox. But that all depends on what happens to the flows when the account running these will change from @mycompany.com to @mycompany.onmicrosoft.com. If the flows are associated with the Azure AD objectid and not the UPN i guess a change of username won't effect them.
