Contain Condition being ignored

I am having an issue with my Flow. I have used the 'Does not contain condition' (I have also tried it the opposite way of it 'Contains' something-no joy either) for File Name dynamic content. So if it doesn't contain "draft" I want to start the approval process.

When the flow runs it seems to ignore this instruction, and starts the approval process even when 'Draft' is contained in the file name.

When looking at a successful flow run, I can see the File Name is returned as a string of numbers and letters and not the actual file name and assume this is what is causing the issue? (I'm a flow novice, I'm just guessing at this point)

Any ideas of how I can overcome this please?Capture1.PNG

Thank you in advance to anyone who can assist me with this. I've spent the whole morning trying to get this to work with no luck!!

Kind regards,

Paula Flaherty

    Hi @paula_flaherty ,

As you can see in the Flow run history provided, the File name is already encoded, so it does not match the string configured in Condition.

Please use Get file metadata action to get the file name that is not encoded.

Then use the Name output of Get file metadata as the parameter of Condition.

    Please try again.
