Send 1 Email to Manager with the condition of blank fields

Hi

I'm trying to create a flow where it would send only 1 email to the manager and also it would check if there are blank fields, please see the below table for reference:

So the result would be it would send only 1 email to Manager 1 regardless of how many fields are blank. I managed to do it but it would keep sending in this case 2 emails to Manager 1 since it is based on checking if the fields are blank for each record.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @RLSid17 ,

    Do you want to send email to manager only when the status is Active?

    Could you please share a bit more about your need?

    If you want to send email to manager only when the status is Active, you could add a condition and compare the Status field with the Active string.

    Hi, I only need to send an email to the manager only when the status is blank. I already tried the condition but it is sending individual emails to the same manager instead of 1.

    Hi @RLSid17,

    Okay, so you want to send single email to the same manager, right?

    I made a simple demo for you:

    item()['Status']
    union(body('Filter_array'),body('Filter_array'))
    item()['Manager']
    body('Select')[0]

    EDIT: Considering that you have more and more data in the futrue, I think I shoule add a loop through the select body, so please check the following flow if you have more than 1 manager to send emails to:

    Thanks for this! I'm sorry I forgot to mention that the table was only a sample and I work off of Sharepoint List. Would this idea also work for Sharepoint source?

    Hi @RLSid17 ,

    That's same thing, you just need to use the Get items action instead of the initialize variable.

    I tried your solution and it came up with an error:

    This is the flow I tried based on your post:

    Apologies I was using the dynamic content instead of the text view in Select. The flow ran successfully but it still sends 2 emails to the same manager, please see results:

    I got it working 🙂 I added a Compose function with the union expression:

    Thanks for your help @v-qiaqi-msft!

    Hi @RLSid17,

    That's impossible.

    I think you should check the outputs of your first filter array.

    This is the outputs of my select body, you could find that I get only two unique email address:

    And this is the my Array, also, you could find that I have two managers need to send email to:

    I would strongly suggest you check my flow one more time😄
