Formatting a Form number field when creating Sharepoint list item

With Forms having limited restrictions, I have a response field that is set to Number. But this allows users to enter a value that is either a whole number or one with decimals. The form submissions are recorded in a list, whilst they are going through an approval process. Upon approval, they are then added to a list which contains only approved requests.

I have a Flow which takes the value field and populates this second Sharepoint List, and I included some formatting of this in the flow, using INT and format. This works when the user submits the value as a whole number, but fails when decimals are included. Can anyone advise what I should be using to cope with submissions that may or may not include decimals?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi  @jameslockyer

    Use the float() expression.

    Hi @jameslockyer,

    If you are expecting decimals I would use a float() instead of an int(). Float can handle whole numbers and decimals.

    float(outputs('Compose'))

    Thanks everyone for the replies. Float worked beautifully, and I have another Powerautomate string to my bow, thanks!
