We have a user who has a custom System Customizer role that grants Create, Read, Write & Delete privileges to a given table. However, the "+ new row" option in their Power Platform menu when accessing the table is greyed out and they also get a notification message "You don't have permission to add new column" (they're not trying to). The Add New Rows button at the foot of the page is also absent.
Any reason why this should be?
Yes, all licenses good - I can confirm @ivan_apps suggestion to create a dedicated role worked even though I thought the fact the custom System Customizer role that had the same tables added with Create, Read, Write, Delete etc. would achieve that - every day's a school day!
Hi @Yaffle
The key question is whether you have a license because if you don't have it, you can't do anything in the application other than create it, you can't interact with data. Unless you are an administrator who does not need a license

Thanks @ivan_apps, I've done this (after switching back to the legacy view - so much easier!) - and will report back whether this has made any difference - I've given full permissions to all the related custom entities...
Thanks @Jmanriquerios, I have the "modern" view on Power Platform (which is painful to work with) so not the above, but the table in question appears as a custom table and has Create, Read, Write & Delete for the organisation the user is part of and the user has this security role assigned to them.
If I recall correctly, System Customizer is a special role that gives a user the ability to modify the system configuration but not see any data. It's basically a good way to grant someone (a dev) the ability to troubleshoot or develop customizations in a system and not have sensitive information exposed.
If you want the user to create records, create a new security role and grant them at least 'User' level create privileges on that table + append + append to. If you want them to see all data and you can grant them org level permissions. If you trust the person with the environment, you can make them a system admin.
Hi @Yaffle
You must check if that customizing role has permission on that specific table. Normally you should have all security roles in green.
