Sending an adaptive card to all the persons and then wait the approval

Hello, I have an automated flow that runs every day in the mornings.

This flow in a specific step after a switch evaluates and if the manual case is set it would post an adaptive card to each person in the manual field from a SharePoint list.

The problem is that it waits for the first response and then sends the card to the other person.

I want to send the card to all and then if they respond get the info

Something like this is how the flow looks like

    Hi,

    This is not starlight forward as per my knowledge but there is work around to achieve this. You can create a new SharePoint list (useremail, ItemId etc.) to which will hold data for the users to which adaptive card needs to be sent along with the SP item for fetching Manual field data.

    Inside apply to each loop, create items in the newly created list with required data. Next, create a new automated flow on item create event for the newly SP list and use post and adaptive card & wait for response action to send adaptive card to each user. This way you will have separate flow instances to capture the response from each user and then you can further act on it. You may further optimize the solution as per your requirement.

     

    If you want more details, I am happy to share the screenshot of the following:

    • SP list that holds useremail, ItemId and other necessary details.
    • apply to each action modifications.
    • new item added power automate flow.

    Hi Manoj Pls elaboarte the  steps also facing same problem.I need to adaptive card to all the users who status is open I have three contacts It should first make group then send the adaptive card and wait for response .Once response is received status should change to close.

    The problem is that it waits for the first response and then sends the card to the other person.

    I want to send the card to all and then if they respond get the info

    Hi All,

    I have created a flow to send adaptive cards to multiple user and wait for the response and the flow is sending cards but problem is adaptive cards are showing up sequentially. Once the first user provides their response, the Flow will continue by sending the same card to the second user, then it will wait for that user to respond, and so on.
    However if I change the concurrency control I'll have maximum 50 parallel branches. But what should be the approach if I need to get response from more than 50 users???

    it is two years overdue response but maybe someone will benefit from it - you can do it with a child flow. Parent flow is iterating through the list of people to send it (i have projects but whatever) and triggers individual cards flows which have post and wait for the response action. Works really well and you don't have the delay because it waits for someone else to response.

    I am looking for the option to expire the card so people can't provide responses anymore, but post and wait for response card doesn't provide id untill it will get a response... very annoying.
