Extract specific data from the CV into Excel using Microsoft Power Automate and Bitskout.

Hi,

I was looking for something to extract specific data from CV/Resumes such as education, skills, experiences, and so on. Then I came across this video: https://youtu.be/aL9zEHim8EA

However, the service/operation used is a premium feature called 'Bitskout'. I was wondering if I needed to get a premium subscription for Microsoft Power Automate if I wanted to use Bitskout.

https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/

Also, do I have to get the Bitskout premium plan with that?

Do I need to get premium versions of both of these, or will one suffice?

Also, if there is an alternative, please suggest it.

I will move this to the appropriate forums for cloud flows. The forums you posted your topic in are dedicated to desktop flows.

To answer your question - the connector is premium, meaning you need a Power Automate Premium license to use it. You do not get any kind of a 3rd party subscription included in the Premium license, however. If Bitskout is a paid service, you need to get a separate subscription on their end to use it. So, you need both.

There might be a way to extract the data out of your CSV without using a third-party or premium connector. Can you provide some more details of exactly what you are trying to extract? Maybe showing what the CSV data looks like and specific data you want to extract.

It's not a CSV - it's a CV (a.k.a. a resume of a person). Obviously, it is possible to read CSV files without any 3rd party connectors. But a CV is likely a PDF file or a MS Word document in most cases. It could be run through AI builder, but that would also require a Premium license of PA and also (depending on how many documents need to be processed), an AI builder credit capacity upgrade, which is quite pricey. The 3rd party connector seems to be designed specifically for the purpose, so it is likely a rather good option to use for this case.
