how to configure trigger on sub folder

Is there way to create trigger on folder on sub folder if any file is created in side any of the folder or sub folder. my folder structure like below

1.Folder

a. Sub Folder 1

i) file 1
ii) file 2

b) Sub Folder 2

i) file 1

ii) file 2

..... so on

As per documentation for Azure blob storage/ file storage/FTP and File System trigger is only work for root folder.

So is there way to handle such use case because in my scenario sub folder will dynamically created and it not fixed. So i want trigger on root folder if any file has added on any of sub folder,

Could u please help to find out any solution on this.

Use when file is created (properties only) action. Select your site and library. it will triggered when you create new file inside sub folder.

Hi @v-upsi ,

It is the limit currently.

If you want to trigger the flow when a file is created in the subfolder, you could take a try to save the files in the OneDrive for business, OneDrive for business connector support the function to trigger for file from the subfolder.

i have tested this with "when file is created (properties only) action" and it is working under sub folders as well. i have my folder structure like-
1-Folder
Sub-folder-1
Sub-folder-2.
I have created file under sub folders 1 and 2. Flow is working fine.

Thanks for the providing this solutions.
But we have to use Azure Blob Storage, Azure File Storage or On Prem only. Would this support this connector support this or not?

You could take a try to see if the trigger could achieve your requirement, if not, I'm afraid that the requirement couldn't be achieved and you could submit an idea to flow ideas forum.

Hi @v-alzhan-msft ,

We are using Azure Blob Storage Connector there we tried it does not work if we upload file in sub folder. Even I also tried with Azure File Storage it didn't work.

I will submit this in idea forum.
