Data not being displayed in Canvas App

Hello,

We have built a Canvas App using PowerApps and we are facing some issue in displaying the data. Not all records are visible on the Monitor Screen, but when I check the same thing on laptop Screen, it is showing all the data. When I use the laptop screen and set the Scale to 125% in display settings, it works fine.

My question is : why the screen would matter in displaying the data?

Please note that the data is coming from SP List.

Any help on this is much appreciated!

HI @Jaimin , It is not related to SP data, it is all about the UI. To understand, by any chance are you using containers to display the data on UI? Please share few screenshots.

Hi @ANB , thanks for getting back on this. We are using Gallery to display the data and have added some filters based on the user access to that data.

@Jaimin Thanks for the screenshots. Does your gallery is flexible height gallery? Do you mind sharing the Template size of gallery? Is there any code written on it?
If there is any dynamic code, then try to have static value.

@ANB I dont think there is any dynamic code in there.

@Jaimin As per the screenshot, you are using a flexible height gallery. Here is the difference between:
Normal Gallery Flexible Height Gallery

So, is there any reason for using flexible height gallery? flexible height gallery are used for purpose where you have different height of each record/row. If in your case there is no such requirement then I would suggest you to use normal gallery.

@ANB Yes, we don't need flexible height gallery. All our rows can be of same height as its just read-only data.
Thank you for helping on this. I will change the gallery to Normal gallery and update if it resolves the issue or not.

Hi @ANB , a quick question - why would the type of gallery matter in displaying the data ?
Even if the gallery is of type Flexible, I believe it should still show the same data as simple gallery type. Would be helpful if you could provide more info on this.

Hi @Jaimin , You can still use Flexible height gallery, but it is more used when you have different row heights. Does using normal gallery resolves your issue?

Hi @ANB , Yes, I was able to see all the data using simple gallery type in a separate test app. Now, we are in the process of doing that in main app which will confirm that its really working.

Hi @ANB , the simple gallery type worked in the main app as well and now we are able to see all the items in the gallery.
