Date picker format - UK vs US date - power apps for teams

I have an app created within power apps for teams based on a sharepoint list

Within the editForm the date pickers are all showing US format dates and I need UK (dd/mm/yyyy)

There is no Format setting and I can't find a function to impact the format within the value setting.  Any help please

    Hi @Mawdman85,

The 'Format' property for your date picker should do the trick.

    Hi @Mawdman85,

Ah! Indeed, it seems to be a known limitation for PowerApps in Teams.

@Akser That's incredibly frustrating.  I've tried putting a text function around the Value property, and whilst it puts it into the correct format it shows the wrong date.  Any thoughts?  I guess it's to do with text / date format clash and it's just never going to work in powerapps for teams...

    See below

Value property = Parent.Default.  Shows correct date 16th October 2023 but in mm/dd/yyyy format

Value property = Text(Parent.Default, "dd/mm/yyyy").  Returns a date format but has changed the date displayed even though it still recognises the default date as 16/10/2023
