I want to send out an email once a team member has viewed all of a video file in SharePoint. Is there any way to trigger a flow once the teammate finishes viewing the file?

    Hi @Anonymous

You can directly query the logs of SharePoint to access the viewed status of the file. Please follow the below link to set an alert when the file is accessed. The alert will trigger an email, the email box can be a common mailbox. You can create a flow to trigger when an email is received in the common mailbox and based on the content of the mail, you can search for the file and do your actions.

    Hi @Anonymous ,

There is no any function could check if all of a file has been viewed by a person in Microsoft flow currently,

If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

I would suggest that you could let the teammate to manually create or update an item list a sharepoint list if he has viewed all of the video file. and you could create a flow to send an email when an item is created or modified in the sharepoint list.

    Best regards,

    Alice
