Firing off a flow on an email that was received by being a member of a group?

I have an admin account that has an Office 365 inbox as well as thr rights to a SHarePoint library.

When an email comes in to the inbox, I can use the flow successfully to remove the attachment and place it into the SharePoint library.

However, it seems that when I have an Office 365 group which forwards the same email into the admin's mail box, the flow does not run.  Is this correct?

    Hi,

Since I cannot populate metadata in the SharePoint libray, I would like to use the subject as part of my file name.  I thought I had this working, but it doesn't seem to be working now.

Is it possible to pre-pend the subject of the email to the file name.

For example, if I have an email that has a Subject: Resume for Chemist
And a file attached called resume.pdf,

can I get a file to be place in the SharePoint library whose name is

    Resume for Chemist+resume.pdf ?

    Hi Tommy,

Did your flow completely not run at all? Or did the flow just fail to save attachment to your SharePoint library? Did you get any error messages?

I used this template to create this simple flow, here is a link of the template:
    https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/f7a46809e53c42108034e56acf83bb79/save-my-email-attachments-to-a-sharepoint-document-library/

To create this flow, in the “Create file” action, you need to fill correct Site URL and specify a Folder Path and also File Name and File Content. Here is a screenshot of my simple flow for your reference. Please try if this works for you.

    Hi Marcelmeth,

I had an Office 365 account and a SharePoint library and an Office 365 Group. I created a flow to save attachment to SharePoint library when an email was arrived. Then I used group member email account to send an email to group owner account, the flow ran and attachment was saved to library. Then I tried to forward the same email to the group via the member email account, the flow was succeed, too. I found that the file created first time was covered when the same email with the same attachment was arrived.

As the attachment has been saved to library when first email is arrived, so when same attachment is arrived again, the attachment would be covered.

Please have a try again. If I misunderstand your meaning, please feel free to reply.

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao
