When an item in a SharePoint list is modified - a specific field (question status)

I need to get that email as the trigger is when a particular field is altered, not

ALL fields.   That would be when there is a status change (The “question status” will

change to “Review”).

I ask a question on SharePoint: status changes to "open". Coach answers the question and the status

changes to "review". I like the answer, I change the status to "closed" if not, I add a follow up question

and change the status back to "open". When the coach responds, the status is changed back to "review".

I then read the response and change the status to a final "closed"

Can you send a step by step so I can perform this?

    Hi @jmyellon ,

Sorry for the function to trigger the flow only when a special column for an item is updated is not supported in Microsoft flow currently so your requirement couldn't be achieved currently.

    Best Regards,

    Alice

Thank you Mira, but it does not help me as I'm already using a template from FLOW.

(I'm not using designer flow BTW...)

You can use the Triggering condition on the trigger step as below:

    Mira_Ghaly_1-1598232555283.png

    Mira_Ghaly_2-1598232571711.png

    Mira_Ghaly_3-1598232613319.png

where the Task_x0020_Status is the column name and Done is the selected value you would like to trigger on.

If this post helps you with your problem, please mark your as Accepted solution.

If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up.
