Generate pdf from new sharepoint list item and attach it to the same item

Hello!

Is there any way of doing this?

When a new item is created:

Generate a pdf file that collects the information of the item.
Attach the generated pdf to the same item to which the information corresponds.

I already have an idea of how to generate the pdf, but I don't know how I can attach it to the same element.

1) Use the when an item is created trigger

2) Use the information from the trigger or a get item using the ID from the trigger to get the fields you need

3) create an HTML table with the items

4) Create a PDF in OneDrive based on the HTML table

5) Add that PDF as an attachment using an Update Item action. Use the same ID as the one in the trigger.

6) delete the PDF you created in OneDrive

Not really. The PDF has to be created in a document library somewhere, either OneDrive or SharePoint, putting it in OneDrive is usually the easiest.

How do you use the Update Item action to add an attachment in a flow? I do not see any functionality for adding an attachment to list item using the Update Item action. Can you describe or show exactly how you add an attachment in the Update Item action?

Sorry, I referenced the wrong action in step #5. You use the Add Attachment action to add the Attachment to the list item after you have used Update Item to make any necessary changes to the Item properties.
