Hello, would appreciate your assistance to advise if feasible to create a condition that
is searching for a specific string within a pdf attachment and depending on it, either
delete the email from outlook, if condition is met, or forward it to a specific address
if it is not met.

There is free action could extract the PDF text.
The is an action with free times limit named Get PDF Text Layer, it is an action within Encodian connector:
https://support.encodian.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360015539373-Get-PDF-Text-Layer
If possible, you could use this action to extract text from the PDF file, then use contains() function to find the specific text string, if it exists, it will return true.
