Using Swiftkey on Android I am unable to start a number text input with a decimal. For example, if I try to enter ".5" the "." will be removed in the same manner as a letter would be. If I enter "0.5" it works.
Thanks for reporting this.
By the way, what if you are using the default keyboard on Android?
If that works, then this might be an issue when working with the Swiftkey, which would need additional assistance from the Swifikey support.
Regards,
Michael
The default keyboard as well as GBoard worked as expected, it was just Swiftkey that had this behavior. I tried on two devices and got the same resuls.
If you use Swiftkey in a different application and write ".5", what happens? Does it change to "5" then, too, or just inside PowerApps?
I don't see this issue with other apps using SwiftKey. Other apps switch to the numeric keyboard for number fields while PowerApps number fields stay in the default text keyboard.
