Custom connector - Connection lost deploying to QA

Posted on by 8

Hello,

I developed a custom connector for iContact that handles basic CRUD operations.  I then built a few Power Automate Flows that use the Custom Connector.  After testing I export the custom connector and also export a solution with my flows.

I import the custom connector and then import the solution with the flows into my QA.  All of the actions (for my custom connector) now saw connection not found. I have to then add the action back in and configure it again.

i have started to change out my flows to use HTTP instead of the custom connecter.

I have not found anything to help.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

thanks

Lou

    Hi @Ljrain412

Yes thats what the blog says using Microsoft Power Platform Builds Tools. Personally I haven't tried that yet. If you don't want to use that route then you need to build the same connector in other environments manually.

    Thanks

So, this is saying that currently you must deploy Custom Connectors using the Build Tools?

    Hi @Ljrain412

If you using the Import/Export then it won't work with custom connectors.  Please see the below blog for the workaround using solution package.
