PDF function Expand Containers

I have a multi line text box on my screen. There is more text in it then shows in the box.

How can I get all the text to show (Expand Containers does not fix this issue) when I use the PDF function?

If you have a multi-line text box on your screen in Power Apps and the text within it is not fully visible when using the PDF function, you can try the following steps to ensure that all the text is displayed in the generated PDF:
Adjust the size of the text box: Increase the height of the multi-line text box so that it can accommodate more lines of text. By making the text box taller, it will provide more space for the text to expand and display all the content.
Enable scrollable behavior: Set the Scrollable property of the multi-line text box to true. This allows users to scroll within the text box to view the entire content if it exceeds the visible area.
Check PDF layout settings: When generating the PDF, make sure to review the layout settings and ensure that the text box is included in its entirety. You may need to adjust the page size or layout options to accommodate the full content of the text box.
Split text into multiple controls: If the text box contains an extremely long string that exceeds the limits of the PDF generation, consider splitting the text into multiple controls. You can use separate text boxes or labels to display different sections of the text, each with its own visible area in the PDF.
By following these steps, you should be able to display the complete content of the multi-line text box in the generated PDF. Make sure to test the PDF generation after implementing these changes to verify that the entire text is now visible.

@LR8 did you manage to fix it somehow?

Having the same issue here, we have a multiline textbox with more text than what could be fitted in the visible area, so it has scrollbars; when using the PDF function, only the visible text is printed.

Hi,
so far there's no way to expand PDF inside the controls (e.g. text input). The sub-function {ExpandContent} in PDF only works in Containers and Galleries.
Just as example (real one in my App), I create a vertical container (cntMiddlePDFVisitScreen), added a Forms and used the {ExpandContainer}. The form has fields which not appear in the first/displayed screen, but with the ExpandContainer it worked to bring them all.
Set( gblWorkOrderPDF, PDF(cntMiddlePDFVisitScreen, {ExpandContainers: true}) );

But, again, as experimental feature there's no way to expand text inside the control (Text Input) and such. I hope MS solve it asap.

Dear I used to have an old version of my apps
it was working perfectly so I didn't touch the formula or anything ,,, it expand the gallery perfectly without any errors put so on so far ,,, I think when I update the apps for different modifications not related to this pdf function, the capability is gone ,,,, the last publishing was one year from now ,,, when I update this august the capability gone .... something related to platform update happens by MS them self

I have not been able to find a fix yet, trying a work around of adding attachments but don't have that working yet either.

I have 2 different containers (Vertical Galleries), one below the other in the same screen.
The 'Expand Containers' available in PDF options does NOT expand all containers

This does not seem to be possible at the moment.

A good workaround is to have another screen used only for the Print function. In this screen you can change the 'text input' control to 'text filed' control have it as auto height and then you can print it to pdf.
