I edited my flow many times and created lots of UI elements, most of them are useless

Does it help to boose the speed of my flow?

I dont think it boosts up the flow in any way. So no the flow doesnt get faster by having fewe

It does make it much lighter when you export/import the flow to other environments. The ui elements include screenshots which take some amount of space. Also deleting useless ui elements makes the flow much cleaner and easier to navigate the ui elements section.

Hi @adsfafafd,

Practicing keeping only needed Ui elements in the flow a good way of approach, but removing all the unnecessary Ui will not give up any more space, but it's a good way practice to keep the flow updated required actions and Ui elements.

I dont think thats correct. You can try it by exporting a flow and then caputring 100 different ui elements and exporting it again and comparing the size.

I had a problem some time ago where my desktop flow exceeded 25mb and it couldnt be imported because atleast at that time there was a limit on the size of the solutions being imported. When I removed unused UI elements that freed up ovet 5mb of space.
When you Look at The ui elements there IS always screenshots attached and itse pretty obvious that pictures take up space
So yes it does free up space to removed unused ui elements.

Echoing @eetuRobo ,As he mentioned that removing unused UI elements can free up memory space in your overall desktop flow.

Here's how it works:

When we create UI elements, a control repository is generated for them, containing specific element details such as screenshots. If these elements are not used, they still remain associated with the desktop flow and reside in the data repository. As we continue to make changes and additions to our desktop flow, including adding subflows, the overall flow size increases. Therefore, it's imperative to remove unused UI elements from flows.
