Is there a way to restrict access to a SharePoint List on a specific view. I'd like to create a view but then limit it based on the users job title. If the users job title contains "Lead" or "Supervisor" or "Manager"
Afaik restricting views with permissions is a feature that still doesn't exist.
However, there should be a couple of workarounds.
One workaround could be to use audiences on your individual list items (btw, technically audience targeting is hiding/pre-filtering content, it is not restricting access). An audience can be a group of people with a specific job title.
In the list below I have enabled audience targeting (modern). List item with title Test will only be shown to users which are part of the IT_Developers group. Test2 is shown to everybody which has access to the list.
Another one could be to use a Power App for this. With the canvas app model you can do pretty much anything you want (including restricting specific galleries/views of items based on somebody's job title). I would suggest if you are interested in that approach to ask the Power Apps community about that.
