The export option is not available in Power Automate Desktop.

Here’s what I do instead to save or share a Desktop Flow:

    1. Go to https://make.powerautomate.com and select the correct environment.

    2. Create a new Solution (or open an existing one).

    3. Add your Desktop Flow to that Solution.

    4. Publish all customizations to make sure the latest version is included.

    5. Export the Solution and you’ll get a .zip file containing your Desktop Flow.

You can then import that ZIP file into another environment or share it with other users.

Recommended way to share flows is what  described.

If you have Premium and the person you want to share the flow has access to same environment then you can share the flow to them in the power automate portal
Accessing the flow to share in Microsoft Power Automate Desktop

You can also just copy and paste all the code from one flow editor to another. So if you want someone else have the same flow that you build you can just copy all actions and paste them into a text file and send that text file to the person you want to have the flow. Then he just copies all the code from the text file and pastes it into their editor. Downside to this is that if you have subflows you need to copy all the subflows individually.

I recently lost changes to a workflow, hoping that unsaved versions might act like Excel keeping a work-in-process kind of backup.

Alas, it appears not to have that functionality, which surprises me greatly.

Am I missing a simple checkbox somewhere maybe?

Is this question sufficiently connected to the OP, or should it be considered a new question?
