Flow capability differences (between Basic and Premium versions of the "new" Microsoft Planner)?

Hello, my name is Daniel and I’m a project engineer for my company. In early 2023, I used the “old” Microsoft Planner to set up an engineering task tracker for my project’s team. I invited my teammates to the plan, and it generally worked well for task assignments, closures, communications, etc.

In addition, I created three (3) different Power Automate (using existing templates – my Power Automate skills are notice at best). Each flow was massively useful to me (the project lead). The flows did the following:

  1. Whenever a task in the plan was marked as “Complete” (by any member of the team), I received an auto-generated Outlook email to inform me of this occurrence.

  1. Every 3 days, an auto-generated Outlook email was sent to the owner(s) of every late task in the plan (and I was CC’d to each email).

  1. Once per day, all plan data was automatically exported into a Microsoft Excel file, and the file was stored on a SharePoint website (this acted as rudimentary protection against the plan being accidentally or nefariously deleted).

Flash forward to today (October 2024) – I now have access to the “new” Microsoft Planner (both Basic and Premium), and I’m leading a new project that is just now starting.

I’d like to utilize the Premium version of the “new” Microsoft Planner because of its useful project management features (like task dependencies), but I’ve thus far failed to locate or write a Power Automate flow that accomplishes any of the three (3) above functions. It seems to me that Planner (Premium) is a derivative of Project for the Web (PftW) rather than the “old” Planner, so I probably cannot repurpose my three (3) existing flows from my early 2023 project.

Is it possible to utilize Power Automate flows with the “new” Planner (Premium) to accomplish any of the three (3) functions above? If yes, can anyone provide any useful guidance for a novice Power Automate user? Thank you in advance for your help!
