Power Automate is downloading flows on EVERY run.

I use Windows 11 and am learning about Power Automate.
I discovered that mine has a bug. No matter the flow, no matter what you do, it ALWAYS downloads the flow every time it runs.
Flows that should run in 1 second take 1 minute, making it impossible to test and use; it's extremely slow.
How can I fix this?

Power Automate Desktop flows are stored in cloud and are not locally on your computer. This means that when you run a flow from the main PAD window (where all your flows are listed), PAD needs to download the flow definition each time before it can execute it.

If you’re testing or developing your flow, you can run it directly from the editor instead. When a flow is already open in the editor, it’s essentially downloaded and ready, so it won’t need to fetch it again before running.

However, note that flows run slower in the editor by design. Editor mode is meant for developing and debugging and step-by-step testing, allowing you to see actions as they execute. If you want your flow to run as fast as possible, you should run it from the main window, not from the editor. The short delay you experience is simply the flow being downloaded from the cloud before it starts.

If this delay is causing problems, could you share a bit more about what your flow does? For example, if your flow performs a quick, repetitive task, it might make sense to move that repetition inside a loop instead of restarting the whole flow each time. That way, the flow only needs to download once and can perform the task multiple times efficiently.

If I have to run a same flow several times, each execution needs to download the flow from the cloud each time. Sometimes it takes to 5-7 seconds to download. Not usefull for a function called 'Flow" ://
