Forms connector not working with O365 personal account: "Test connection failed. Details: Required user login."

Hello everyone,

From my O365 personal account I am trying to create a flow with MS Forms as the trigger ("When a new response it submitted").

However, I am not able to connect to Forms, error message is: "Test connection failed. Details: Required user login." Other connectors work well. It is just this connection to Forms that fails.

Thanks for a hint how to solve this problem.

I’m now experiencing a similar issue. Had used power automate with my 0365 family edition/licence to create a couple of flows that had been working fine. One was to copy attachements from emails to a onedrive location. Noticed it had stopped working a few months back. Went to check the connectors and got an error saying a school or work version of 0365 is needed.

It would appear Microsoft have simply removed the functionality from the home editions without any warning or notification! Now have a load of broken flows, not happy.

    Hello @Lutz82 ,

MS Forms is a feature that is needed to get licensed. So you cannot use it from your personal MS account. You need to have a working or school account in order to login properly.

Here you got all the licensing that is including MS Forms:Is Microsoft form require separate license? Can I share the survey link to my external users? - Microsoft Tech Community
