"Could not connect to your data gateway" after working for a period of time.

I have a few flows that I seem to have to keep rebuilding the gateway for it to continue working. It runs fine for a few days, then starts failing with a "Could not connect to your data gateway" error. I have had this happen for both the SQL connector, and the File System connector.

To remit, I delete the step, rebuild with a "new" gateway, and it works for a few days, then starts failing again.

Any ideas on what is going on?

    Hi @mick_swartz

Based on this "To remit, I delete the step, rebuild with a "new" gateway, and it works for a few days, then starts failing again" . I would suggest open a Ticket with Power Automate support team, https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support

    Hi @mick_swartz

Well for the gateway to stop working is a strange behavior, Can you check the server logs for any restarts that happened due to updates ?

Also before rebuilding using a new gateway, make sure that your current gateway service is running and you are logged in with the correct account. as it could have stopped or logged off  due to a server restart or port conflict.

    When it happens again
1- Check "On-Premises Data gateway service" is running.

2- Open the gateway application and make sure account is logged in and showing the status that the gateway is online

    Best Regards

    Mark
