I am new to power BI and I currently need to create an app... I have a cost database where the category of the object in question (building, equipment, utilities...) then a lot of information (location: Europe, France; Platform; Type...). At first, I would like the user to be able to choose which category his equipment belongs to in order to refine the search (for example Building) then there will be another page where the user can view all the equipment belonging to the category selected and can apply other filters if desired.
Here's what I did to get started:
I inserted a gallery that only displays categories. However, I have two problems. Already, I have several Building type equipment and I can't manage to have a single "Building" line that groups all the lines. Then, I also can't manage to arrange them other than in line (this second problem is less, if I can't manage it, it doesn't matter).
I am attaching here a screen of what I would like my page to look like (did it on Canva) and a screen of my sharepoint database (which for the moment is very incomplete, I will fill it in later but I have added a few examples to account) :
