Sending a reminder email every Monday to the owner of a sharepoint list item

Good morning,

I am hoping somebody can help me!

I have a SharePoint list which documents actions for a committee. One column contains the action owner.

I am attempting to create a flow which will send an email reminder every Monday to the action owner.

So far I have set up the recurrence trigger which leads to 'Get Items'. This leads to a 'Foreach' function and then a 'Condition' which if fulfilled branches to the 'Send an email' function.

I believe my issue is with the condition. When the flow is ran, the send an email function is skipped as 'ActionBranchingConditionNotSatisfied - The execution of template action 'Send_an_email' skipped: the branching condition for this action is not satisfied.

The condition is currently set up as: OR formatDateTime(utcNow(), '') is less than Target date.

Is this completely wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thankyou,

Cobie

    Hi Cobie,

    Pls replace the formatDatetime function with the mentioned below:

    formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy-MM-dd'

    If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.
