Send an Outlook meeting/appointment from trigger

I can see there is an option to create an outlook event or to send an email. What I want to be able to do is create an event in other users calendars. For example, when a user books a holiday is booked via SharePoint, an event called Holiday is then added to their calendar.

If there was an option to send a Meeting request or Appointment request then that would be perfect (and the user could decline if they wanted then).

In summary I'm looking for an option to create an Outlook Event in other peoples calendars or send an Outlook Appointment/Meeting request via Flow.

Please say there is a way 🙂

    Hi Sianbusby,

I think the one you want to send event to should share his/her calendar with you.

After sharing, I think you can choose the calendar to create an event.

From observation, I think by using outlook/office365 can only create an event for yourself(I don't know whether o365 have share calendar feature)

Although you can send an email with the event link, I'm not sure you can insert the event into his/her calendar.

    Thanks

There are too many people I would need to share calendars with for that to be viable.

Thank you for the idea. I've given this a go however I'm using Outlook 365 event/email and I cannot see a way of sending an event link.

    Hi SianBusby,

right, currently Outlook 365 event haven't exposed the output for the following cards to use, it might be avaiable in the future. And you can put your idea here: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/idb-p/FlowIdeas
