Sync SharePoint excel to Azure SQL DB (realtime)

Hi All,

I have a requirement where users what to do something like what if analysis. They want to assign a % for each product and then use that in a dashboard. They want the changes to be reflected in the report in real-time. To achieve this, I'm planning to make a spreadsheet available in SharePoint and somehow sync that table in the excel to a database table.

Can you let me know if we can achieve this in Flow?

Thanks,

Srikanth

    Hi @skanthb,

Do you want to create update an Excel table based on the creation/modification of a SharePoint list?

Please use the trigger When an item is created or modified in a list, then use the Excel action insert row to sync items from the list to the Excel table.

The flow could be configured likes below, please take it for a reference and try it on your side.

Thank you Mabel Mao for the response.

I do not want to take the route of SharePoint lists as in that case my belief is that user can only change/modify/add only one item at a time. Correct me if i'm wrong. If the list is too long, i would prefer it to be a table in an excel file uploaded to a SharePoint location. Can we loop throup or do bulk insert into a database table from that table in an excel spreadsheet available on SharePoint?

    Thanks again,

    Srikanth
