Auto sync Excel with SharePoint and trigger e-mails

Hello,

I have build a flow that connects Excel with SharePoint list. The excel gets sync with SharePoint list periodically ( at a defined frequency). I have set up trigger "When an item is created or modified".

I have assumed earlier that the flow will trigger e-mail only when a new addition is added in existing excel on sync up  or any fields are modified. But the e-mail trigger sends the notification of all the data items in the list at every refresh, rather than the one that is modified or newly added.

Can anyone help me here?

    Hi @nishivarma ,

Do you want to start the flow when the SharePoint list changes?
As far as I know, there is currently no trigger to trigger flow when excel changes.
Could you please show me your flow?
You can use Get changes for an item or a file (properties only) action to get the changed item.

    Hi, Thanks for the reply.

I somehow able to made this work. Actually I have setup three separate flows

Flow 1: To sync excel with SharePoint list

Flow 2: To trigger e-mail whenever a column is updated to a particular value

Flow 3: To trigger e-mail when a new item added in the list

I have attached the images of the flow 1 and 2

    Hi @nishivarma ,

Both of your flows look fine. Do you have other flows that trigger emails? You can try checking your flow run history to determine which flow emailed all the data from your SharePoint list.
Check the body of the email.
