PDF() function for multiple attachments

Hi,

I want to create a pdf which includes the items details and attachments(pdf).

I have a container with gallery inside it to show the items one by one, but I'm struggling on how to show the attachment(pdf) under every item as every item comes with multiple attachment.

The sequence:
Disbursement details1

Receipt1(pdf)
Disbursement details 2
Receipt2(pdf)

I might have more than 500 disbursement details and and attachments, so it's a pretty large pdf file.

Please help me with this, Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Anonymous ,

You can add a Nested Gallery and show multiple attachments for each Item. In that way you will get all of the attachments shown.

Do let me know if you see any challenges, I am always happy to help.

    Regards,
    Faisal

    Hi @Faisal__Wasim ,

    Thanks for the reply!

May I know what should I enter in the item property of the nested gallery and also the image property in the nested gallery?

I tried ThisItem.Attachments for nested gallery's item property and ThisItem.Value for the image property but the image shows nothing if it is a pdf attachment.

Also, if the pdf is more than one page, will the image shows all the pages?

Hope to hear from you soon, Thanks!

    Best Regards,

    Weeny

    Hi @Anonymous,

Great you've used the correct values, Just replace the image with a PDF Viewer, then it will display the PDF, and yes the PDF viewer will display all pages.

Do let me know if you see any challenges, I am always happy to help.

    Regards,
    Faisal

    Hi @Anonymous,

Apologies I seemed to have missed that, Are your PDFs Stored in SharePoint ? If yes then you can show a Thumbnail of the PDF in Image Control and on the onselect property you can view that PDF in a PopUp Style PDF viewer,

Or Alternatively you can use the PCF Control PDF Viewer, which I believe would be added in the Nested Gallery.

Do let me know if you see any challenges, I am always happy to help.

    Regards,
    Faisal
