Ok...I'm going to wade back into this as the question has been asked and gone unanswered on several earlier threads.
It would appear that all the actions in the "Approvals" connector (allowing you to manage approvals in the Teams Approvals app) only have visibility to the default approval type. I cannot find a means of using the "Start and wait for approval" or other action with a custom approval template.
Has anyone identified a method for initiating an Approval request from Power Automate using a Teams Approvals app template? We have information we need to manage as part of the Approval process that isn't supported by the default approval form.
I would prefer not to invest time in building a standalone Power Platform app to handle our approval workflow, but we may have to go that direction if the native Teams Approvals cannot be extended to use Approval Templates from Power Automate.
