Post a series of options as a flow bot to multiple users

This is for Microsoft teams action

Can the flow bot send the same question to multiple users and take the first response it receives to the next action?

What I am trying to achieve is to ask for a response to an user. If the user is not available, another user can answer in its stead. Thanks.

    Hello Team,

This is not possible currently so I would recommend rather than doing this, why not create a team which will only have approvers in them (name the team as DocApproval).

Post this use the action, "Post an Adaptive card to Team channel and wait for the response", so this will send an adaptive card to that team channel and anyone can pick that up and just either approve or reject.

This will make your Flow simple and compact, no difficult logic to implement.

I have written a nice blog post on this in the Official Power Automate community forum -

Sorry but this isn't supported yet.

Here is an idea posted in User voice, you can up vote it -

I found this case interesting and have a case where this solution should be the proper match. In fact I am struggling with with the Action "Post adaptive Card and wait for a response". Couple of questions here:

    • What exactly the action is waiting for? In your case mentioned above I understand this is the Approval response.
    • If so, does the approval shall go into to he message body of the action?
    • Does it have to be design via Adaptive Card designer then?

Unfortunately the link above does not provide the link to the post with solution mentioned. Can you share any hints on this? Thank you!
