If you use the Send an Email action in Power Automate, you can set the connection to use for this action. Normally you would setup and use a connection for your default MS 365 tenant (username and password) and the email will be sent via Exchange. But you can set the Send an Email action to use a connection for different tenant:

If you look at the run time output, the Send an Email action used a connection for a different account in a different tenant:

Similarly, you could use the Gmail connector to send an email, and that message will be sent via Google's mail service:
