Good night, guys!
I am creating a UI in power apps and I am with difficulty to do this task. I am tying to filter data in form the to do connection with a view of the database. The idea is add a filed with name "Date" in form and to filter the dates existing those field of the database. How I to do that?
Some suggestions could be using Galleries and Filters. I suggest you take a look at Shane Youngs You Tube channel. Shane Young - YouTube
Hi @wctoddy
Please find the below information as starting point to build your application.
Insert a Dropdown and set the Items property to
Sort( Distinct( [@'[dbo].[ViewName]'], DateColumn ), Result )
Insert a Gallery and set the Items property to
Filter( [@'[dbo].[ViewName]'], IsBlank(Dropdown1.Selected.Result) || DateColumn = Dropdown1.Selected.Result )
Set AllowEmplySelection property of Dropdown to true
