Power Automate / Apps licensing when Automate is using premium connectors

Hello,

I have question regarding premium licensing in Power Apps / Power Automate.
In our company our technicans use Power Apps to enter data which is then transfered to Power Automate and there certain flows populate a word document and also convert this document to .pdf (Word Online Business Connector - PREMIUM).
So the only premium connector in this process is used in Power Automate (no CDS or so).

Right now our Users have Power Apps Per-App-Plan licenses, this obviously has the limitation that a user can only run 2 Apps.

My question: Is it possible/the better way to just buy "Per-Flow-Plan" licenses for the flows behind these apps as Power Automate is the only part where premium connectors are used? By doing that we would pay 500$ per month for 5 Apps with unlimited users, right now we are already at nearly 1000$ per month for the Power Apps licenses but only 2 apps per user...

Thanks in advance!
Julian

    Hello Team,

That is what you should do.

    • Power Automate per flow plan, for ~$500/month including 5 flows, allowing a power user to create a solution that departments can then easily use. The purpose of this plan is that individual user licenses are covered in the context of the business process solution.

This plan also supports the premium connectors, so clearly you are saving money here.

Although do not forget that the Power Automate plan above i.e Per flow plan is only for Power automate/flows. This has nothing to do with Power Apps, there is entirely a different licensing model for Power Apps.
