As reported (https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Power-Apps/Multiline-input-text-forced-to-one-line-in-pdf/m-p/1827540#M462817) and I can confirm, when the PDF function is used to create a PDF from a screen, multiline text in TextInput controls is displayed as if in SingleLine mode:
Thanks @BCBuizer for reporting this! So far I have not had success in reproducing this. Could you share a screenshot of the properties of the Text Input field and your PDF formula? That will help our investigation. Thanks for helping out on the other thread as well!
Hi @Tasha_S ,
All properties for the Text Input control are standard except for the Mode property which is set to TextMode.MultiLine.
The code for the PDF is: Set(varPDF,PDF(Screen5))
The Document property of the PDF viewer control is set to varPDF, which is where the text in the Text Input control is is showing as SingleLine.
