Changing author when posting HTTP request

Hello,

I need to change author when creating item in Sharepoint list. I need to make author anonymous, I have special technical accout that should be used as author. For now I found one solution to update list item by request HTTP and change author and editor. But there is still way to check who put item in version history. I need to make it 100% anonymous. Please help.

Have you tried deleting the version history?

I don't think you'll ever make it completely anonymous - there will be entries in logs, etc..
