New RSS Feed trigger failing with 404 error on a WordPress 5.2 site

Hi all

I operate two sites, one for school and one for church.

The school site is https://normanhurstboys.nsw.edu.au with feed URL https://normanhurstboys.nsw.edu.au/feed (which is accessible from the browser).

The church site is https://cabc-wr.org, with feed URL https://cabc-wr.org/feed

Two weeks ago I created a Flow to auto-email staff of whenever a new RSS feed item appeared (e.g. new post). However, last week it's been failing badly with a "404" error in not being able to resolve.

Everything else seems to be OK, except the school site is WordPress 5.2 and the church site is WordPress 5.1. I switched my Flow's RSS feed URL to the church one and it worked as expected!

Does anyone else who uses WP5.2 also experience this?

For some funny reason it worked magically again. Thanks.

    Hi @hubertlam ,

As the error message said, 'The remote name could not be resolved'.

I am afraid that there is something wrong with the feed you are using.

You can take more try with different WordPress 5.2 sites to check whether it is the cause of  WordPress 5.2.
