Downloaded file from web saved in default "Downloads" location - unattended mode

Hi,

 

My PAD downloads the file from the web (using Chrome). The saving window was recorded and the path is always populated to this window:

For some of the instances in unattended mode , file is saved not under the right path, but in "Downloads" folder.

 

Any suggestions what can be the root cause of this issue?

    Hello Mike

     

    Just a guess but in unattended mode the filepath may not be correctly given due to the window being unfocused?

     

    Would adding a focus action help with the window getting the correct address before the downloaded files? In anycase I am thinking it would be a control issue.

    To go along with this:

     

    wait for text field “filename”

    send keys %FilePath%{Enter} this will take the window to the right path
    send keys %FileName%{Enter} this will save the file in the current path of the window
