Maintain single Sharepoint list with PowerApp forms across multiple Teams

Hi

I like to understand the feasibilty for implementing the scenario below with a single central SP list and multiple Teams/Channels using a common PA form to maintain the SP list.

As-Is:

In our M365 tenant we use MS Teams to manage 100+ projects. Each project will have it's own MS Teams site with a defined list of users.

For managing risks, issues, decisions, and actions (RAID) a single SP RAID list has been created where the project number is one of the columns. Also, each MS Teams name starts with the project number (4 digits).

There are 300+ users (all with M365 for work accounts) maintaining or viewing the RAID log. Row levels security is not required (yet), i.e. everyone with write access can update all RAID items, even when they are not a defined project member.

Right now all RAID items are maintained using the OOTB SP form. When adding new records the project number needs to be entered manually. To view the RAID items for a specific project only, the user needs to filter the list manually or create personal views.

To-be:

Develop a Power App form which can be added as a 'RAID' tab to each MS Teams project site. The form should 'recognize' the project number by extracting the first 4 chars of the Teams name. When adding new records, from within the Teams RAID tab, the project number shall automatically be saved to the new RAID item. When viewing the RAID log, only items for the current project number shall be shown.

Surplus:

The PowerApp is added by default when creating a new Project Teams site. Or it can be 'imported' to an exisiting MS Teams site.

Optionally, the MS Teams member role defines whether the user can only view or also edit an item.

Is it worth investigating further in that direction, or is this just not feasible?

Thanks for feedback

Michael
