Export email

Hi

I have seen Office 365 Outlook "Export email" action is available on Microsoft Flow editor, however, when checking the documentation at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365/#Export_email , the description is so brief, that I cannot figure out its purpose. Does it allow to export the whole email into .msg or .pst file format, as requested in several ideas and threads like https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Flow-Discussion/Flow-Keep-Email-eml-or-msg/td-p/60598? Any additional info or usage example is appreciated

    Hi @efialttes,

The “Export email” action of Office 365 Outlook connector would return the content of an email, including Received, From, To, Subject, Message ID, Body message and etc. I have made a test on my side and the outputs of “Export email” action as below:5.JPGIt doesn’t allow to export the whole email into .msg or .pst file format. In addition, I can not find any additional info about “Export email” action of Outlook connector within Microsoft Flow.

    Best regards,

    Kris

    Wooohoooo! Works great.

I just ran a quick test that triggers a new flow whenever an email arrives in Outlook for Office 365. It then exports that email, convert it to pdf and send it as an attachment by yet another email. (You can do anything with the PDF including saving in SharePoint, DropBox, Onedrive, etc)

Rich formatting comes through as do attachments, which are in turn also converted to PDF and merged with the same email.

I didn't sport similar 'Export' commands for the other email providers, so fingers crossed that they add those as well.

Looks easy enough, but instead of sending an email w/ the body of one email, can I get an Excel file prepared of all emails for a day? I've been trying it and it keeps failing at the Convert File action.

    My flow setup actions:

When a New Mail Arrives (outlook) > Export Email (outlook) > Convert File (oneDrive) > Create Worksheet (excel)

    Thanks for your help!

    Michele
