    As far as I know, you can't add a column to a table, unless you do it when you create it with "Create new data table".
    One solution could be to modify the excel sheet to include a column called age, and indclude this column when retriving data.

    #Highboy Hmmm... That's what I expected. I think there are so many things to improve. Should I request these function to MS?

    You can always suggest, but  don't get your hopes up too high.
    One of the rater simple but highly requested suggestions have been to get "colored comments" but they seem to ignore the fact that many people want it.

    @bbjcar

    As a workaround:

    1. Open Excel

    2. Add a column

    3. Write the header in the first row

    4. Read data from excel

    5. Close excel with or without saving depending on your desired scenario
