hey all,

anyone came across a way to have the receiver of the email input their feedback in columns by item lines (box in red); then press approve. The content of the feedback box will be updated back into the sharepoint list

I am not exactly sure what you are asking for, but try this:
    1. Create a MS Form with the necessary information to get the "feedback in columns by item lines (box in red)"
    2. When you send the e-mail, include the link to the form and ask the person to fill it out.
    3. Create a workflow on the MS form and when a response is received, update the SharePoint list.

was expecting for it to be turnout as something like this; when the receiver key in the feedback they just need to click on the buttons below to be re-send back

I think someone else will need to assist, as I am not sure what your screen shot is illustrating. Is it an e-mail from an approval action? If so, I would ask the person to put the feedback in the comments field. Unfortunately, you cannot make the comments field required, but when the approval is received, you can check if the comments are empty and resend the approval (through a do until loop) telling them to be sure to enter the feedback in the comments field or they will keep getting the approval until they do.

If the receiver is someone in your tenant, you could invite them to a Canvas App

Set up your Canvas App to receive the URL parameters from a link

After that you can modify your flow to generate dynamic links that point back to the Canvas App, where the user can submit the values.

Please let me know if this helps.

the receiver is someone outside of the org

few years back, i came across something similar to this where. The email items was send out from sharepoint list and it has a blank column for inputs. Once, the receiver has input their comments, pressing the buttons allocated will trigger the auto update into the sharepoint list. Works like the send email with options with comment box; just the comment box is in the item itself
