I have created an approval flow. When a new document is added to a share point file the flow is initiated. The person who adds the document selects the approvers from 5 departments (Mech , struct, piping, elec and instru). An approval is sent to each person. When they approve it, a table in excel is updated from 'pending' to 'approved'. Once all have been approved a column in table is changed to 'all approved', Remains 'pending' if any rejected. An email is then sent to the person that created the document informing them of the final status.
The flow works the way it is intended to, when a person is selected for each department however for some files there may not be a person involved from every department. How do I enable the flow to continue even when one approver remains empty. Currently it still turns to 'pending' and is waiting for an approval but no name has been entered so the flow cant progress. If no one is selected I want it to be automatically turned to approved for that department.
Any ideas how I can achieve this? I appreciate the help.
