Export To File for Power BI Reports with multiple bookmarks and recipients

Hello everyone,

In the same workflow, I would like to send, for example, 5 emails to 5 recipients using the action "Export To File for Power BI Reports" with a bookmark so each recipient gets a customized data report. However, each time I used that action, they each received the same data report. I used the dynamic variable, named "content file" (see screenshot), but I haven't been able to send a customized data report to each recipient.

Could you please help me identify a solution?

    Hi @bchager6 ,

I'm currently facing a challenge with exporting a Power BI report to PDF. My goal is to export only certain visuals from a report page. Initially, I attempted to use the 'Pages Visual Name -1' option, specifying the visual IDs I wanted to export. However, this resulted in exporting only one visual per page, which is not what I require, as I need to export multiple specific visuals from a single page(if you could help me how to write query for multiple visuals that would be great.)

To address this, I created two bookmarks within my published report:

    1. A 'Hidden' bookmark to display only the visuals needed for the export.
    2. An 'All Visuals' bookmark showing every visual on the page.

When using the 'Export to File for Power BI Reports' connector in Power Automate, I encountered a field for 'Bookmark Name.' I input the GUID of my bookmark there but am unsure how to reference the bookmark name correctly to ensure the PDF export reflects the specific visuals defined by the 'Hidden' bookmark.

Additionally, there's an option for 'Bookmark State,' and I'm uncertain about its utilization and whether it could help in my scenario.

I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to correctly use bookmarks for exporting specific visuals in a PDF and any insight on the 'Bookmark State' functionality.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Send report from Power BI via Power Automate

    Hi,

Can someone help me with the following issue that I'm facing. I have a report in Power BI that's refresh every day. I'm interest in sending the mail based on the 19 value when it changes. So I created a metric in Power BI that tracks that value and when it changes I should receive the mail (logic) but I'm not receiving any email.

Re: Export To File for Power BI Reports with multiple bookmarks and recipients

I am using a one-page name with one bookmark but it gives me an error message when I run the workflow "Export report with page names which does not exist in the report is not supported" However I copied the correct page name from the Power BI URL

    Hi,

I'm not to understand you very well, but the philosophy is following: for each export, you have to use one PageName with one BookMark. You cannot use one PageName with another BookMark twice on the same export ; if you want to use a similar PageName, you can duplicate it on Power BI Desktop and get PageName and its BookMark.

    Is it better now?
